We exist to resource institutions that organize families and the early childhood workforce so that Black families and families of color have the power of self-determination. Early childhood development is crucial in shaping a child's future, and the Power Equity Fund is committed to making these opportunities more accessible and equitable by resourcing organizations that elevate these voices. We do this by providing unrestricted, non-burdensome, multi-year general operating grants to Black-led and person-of-color-led organizations—grants that are based on trust and the lived experience of the team.

The current landscape under-resources organizations with deep community knowledge and mobilizing ability. Adding strength and capacity to Black and person-of-color led advocacy and organizing institutions is essential for systems change.
